Caroline Hensley finished her effort in the jump event with a third place finish. Her jump of 42.2m (138') tied the earlier score of her teammate Lauren Morgan who had to settle for a respectable 4th place based on preliminary round score. Manon Costard (FRA) improved from the first round to win with a leap of 43.2m, ahead of Australia's Jacinta Carroll silver medal flight 0f 42.9m.

Both closed in on overall points, but not enough to unseat Caroline with two events remaining to determine this prestigious title.
