Lotus Pond is the venue for waterskiing at the 2009 World Games. 36 countries are sending skiers to participate in slalom, trick, and/or jump competition. Site familarization is Tuesday and the competition is Wednesday. 4,500 athletes are converging on Kaohsiung, Taiwan for the eighth world games which are held every four years in the year following the olympics. Check back for updates once the skiing starts!
