Site familarization ran quite smoothly yesterday, except for the conditions which were very challenging. Better conditions prevailed Wednesday morning for the women's slalom preliminary rounds. Men's and Women's tricks are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon and Men's slalom and Men's and Women's Jumping is scheduled for Thursday.
Results of Women's Slalom Preliminaries have Kate Adriensen in first with 5 @ 12 m, Caroline Hensley in second with 3 @ 12 m, and Manon Costard in third with 2.5 @ 12m. The top six overall females will advance to Friday's slalom, trick, and jump finals. Results of today's Men's and Women's tricking will be posted later today!
Results of Men's and Women's Trick Priliminaries have been posted. We tricked in the afternoon and had to deal with quite a bit of wind. But through the ruff conditions, Rodrigo Miranda took the top seed with 7880 followed bny Slovakia's Martin Bartalsky with 7040. Alejandro Lamadrid from Mexico finished third with 6690 points. The Women's trick event ended with Caroline Hensley in the top seed position with 6440 followed closely by Manon Coastard with 6390. Kate Adriaensen was third with 6060 points.
